Our 5th Annual S.L.Y.C. Healing Humanity Festival at Masseygrove Park was an amazing success, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate with us!
The Healing Humanity Festival was created with a vision of bringing our community together to focus on healing the mind, body, and soul while celebrating culture, wellness, family, and community connection — and this year truly brought that vision to life.
From energetic outdoor workouts and music to children’s activities, our bouncy castle, community learning, local vendors, giveaways, raffle prizes, 100 FREE health and wellness care packages, FREE youth haircuts and FREE hair braiding, the park was filled with activity, laughter, connection, and positive energy throughout the day.
Most importantly, we were able to create a FREE and accessible community experience for families, children, youth, and residents to connect with one another, discover resources, support local businesses, and enjoy a day dedicated to their overall well-being.
We extend a very special thank-you to Toronto Deputy Mayor and Councillor Amber Morley and Councillor Vincent Crisanti for taking the time to join us and show their support for our organization, our festival, and the communities we serve. Your presence helped make this milestone celebration even more meaningful.
